Eligibility


At The Brow Bar, I am dedicated to ensuring your safety and satisfaction with my permanent makeup procedures. To maintain the highest standards of client care and safety, I have established the following eligibility and contraindications requirements. Please carefully review this information before booking your appointment. By booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to the below. If it is discovered that you do not meet the requirements outlined below, your appointment and deposit will be forfeited.

Cosmetic Tattooing is not Recommended for Clients with the Following Conditions:


  • Clients who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding, as it is not recommended to undergo the procedure under these circumstances.
  • Clients with a history of keloids or hypertrophic scarring.
  • Clients undergoing chemotherapy.
  • Clients with viral infections and/or diseases.
  • Clients with epilepsy or a history of fainting spells or seizures.
  • Clients with severe heart conditions, a pacemaker, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or poor general health. A doctor's note with clearance is required for eligibility.
  • Clients experiencing skin irritations, eczema, or psoriasis on the intended treatment area, such as rashes, sunburn, or acne.
  • Clients who are sick (cold, flu, etc.). Please call to reschedule your appointment.
  • Clients who have used Accutane within the past 12 months.
  • Clients who have recently had Botox or muscle relaxers in the brow area or forehead must wait at least two weeks before their tattoo session, and should not engage in Botox or muscle relaxers for two weeks after their tattoo session.
  • Clients who have engaged in sun tanning or increased sun exposure prior to the procedure and during the healing process.
  • Clients using Retin-A, retinol, glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, alpha hydroxyl acids, chemical anti-aging, exfoliants, or any brightening skincare products. These products must be discontinued at least 3-4 weeks prior to the appointment.
  • Clients undergoing any treatment, medication, or experiencing any illness that weakens their immune system or hinders the healing process, making them unsuitable candidates for permanent makeup procedures. Note: Please do not stop any medications that affect your health; your well-being is our top priority.
  • All clients must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for any tattoo service. A valid photo ID must be provided at the time of your appointment to verify your age.
