About Me
Hi there, I'm Erica, the owner and artist behind The Brow Bar! With over 20 years of experience in the cosmetic industry (I might have just given away my age), I graduated from MUD (Make-Up Designory) in Burbank, California, in 2003. After graduating, I had the privilege of working with MAC Cosmetics before venturing into the makeup world of TV, print, and film.
My path led me to Portland in 2011, where I met my incredible husband and embarked on a new chapter in life. In 2014, I went back to school to become a licensed esthetician. The world of brows called to me in 2015, and I honed my skills while working with Anastasia Beverly Hills, gaining invaluable experience and a wonderful clientele.
In 2018, after adding my baby boy to our family, I decided to open my own brow studio. This allowed me to maintain a flexible schedule to balance my family life and serve my clients better. I'm truly grateful that my clients followed me to my new business, helping it flourish.
In 2023, I dove deeper into my passion for brows and started my journey in permanent makeup, and I immediately fell in love with it. I thrive on using my creativity to enhance the natural beauty of other women, helping them feel confident in their own skin, and in this case, their brows.
Throughout this journey, I've had the pleasure of meeting countless talented and inspiring women, some of whom I'm lucky to call my friends. I'm a firm believer in uplifting and supporting others, which is one of my driving forces.
When I'm not crafting beautiful brows, you'll find me enjoying life through travel, going to church, working out on my stationary bike, spending quality time with my family, and homeschooling my son. I have two beautiful adult daughters who I love so much and enjoy spending time with.
